Homa Mojtabai is an MFA candidate in fiction at the University of Mississippi. Her fiction, satire, and essays have been published in outlets including the LA Times, the Offing, Streetsblog LA, and McSweeney’s Internet Tendency.
Her McSweeney’s piece, “Reasons You Were Not Promoted That Are Totally Unrelated to Gender” was the most read article on the site in 2015 and has been quoted in scholarly books examining workplace issues.
I Will Do Anything to End Homelessness Except Build New Homes was another hit and made some people VERY ANGRY on Reddit.
